COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is one of the most widely used, evidenced-based approaches in modern therapy. It focuses on how a person’s thoughts, feelings and behaviors are interconnected. It also focuses on how changing unhelpful patterns can improve emotional well-being. The core idea of CBT therapy is focused more on a person’s interpretation of an event rather than the event itself. It has been consistently used to help manage symptoms of depression.
